This gear is way better than what I expected! I ordered a size small for my daughter, she loved it! She appreciates the gel knee pads. I do wish the helmet had a little room for adjustments but the elastic does have good stretch, hopefully within time it will loosen up a little so it’s easier for her to take off quickly when trying to catch a pop-up behind the plate. I would highly recommend this gear as well as the company selling it!

I bought this catcher’s gear for my 8-year-old daughter, and while it’s clear that the quality is exceptional, the size is a bit too large for her. The gear is incredibly well-made, with solid padding and sturdy materials that should last for a long time. It feels very protective, and she likes the style a lot.However, the gear is definitely on the larger side for a younger player. The chest protector is heavy and a little too bulky, and the shin guards are too wide, making it hard for her to move with ease. She can still wear it, but it affects her mobility and comfort, which is important when she’s in the game.I think this would be perfect for a larger child or an older player, but for my 8-year-old, it’s just a little too much for now. I’ll be saving it until she grows into it, as it’s still a great investment for the future.

This catchers gear was exactly as described. My daughter is a 13yo fast pitch catcher and I ordered this gear and size hoping it will last a few seasons. It fits great and for the price was super reasonable compared to other sites. The only con I have is it took a considerable amount of time to ship and I got nervous the order was going to be cancelled. The quality, safety and look is exactly what was described. I would highly recommend to other shoppers looking for a good set for a little cheaper than the high end brands.

Muy bonito y perfecto para el calor pero cuidado porque viene extremadamente grande, el pantalón no hay problema que quede suelto porque tiene elástico pero la blusa es como dos tallas más grande, en la sisa se nota mucho y habrá que hacerle unas pinzas. También hay que tomar en cuenta que es delgadita la tela, yo compré en negro entonces no hay problema pero creo que en colores más claros se transparentaría. En general por el precio está re bien.

I wanted to leave this review to help other parents with catcher daughters! We read a lot of reviews and talked to a lot of people when trying to decide on a new set of catcher’s gear for our 10 year old. We weren’t sure whether to go with a youth size large or a small adult (for reference, our daughter is currently 4’11” and 100 lbs). We were looking for something that gave her more protection than her previous basic set, but also something that would grow with her for a few years. We ended up deciding on the adult small because we were afraid she’d grow out of the youth size too quickly. Not only does this gear fit securely with the buckles tightened, as well as providing plenty of padding to keep her safe, but it’s giving her a lot more coverage on her legs, and it’s pretty!☺️ We also love the gel pads on her knees especially! If you’re contemplating new catcher’s gear, I highly recommend this set!

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. Items were shipped quickly and arrived on time. Items were new as per the description, packaged well, and in perfect condition.The leg guards and the helmet are of very good quality. I like the gel inserts in the knees. Nice touch! The helmet cover likely won't provide much protection but will be good for dust and water. It's a thin, plasticky-type fabric and likely won't last very long, but it isn't anything I used in consideration of this purchase.My one concern is that the chest protector seems to be about the next size down compared to the rest of the gear and seems to be built for that age group. (8-10, maybe?) My daughter is 12 and is 5'5". This gear would easily be five stars if not for this. I will wait and see what my daughter thinks tomorrow, but my first impression is that I will be trading it in for a bigger (and thicker) chest protector.
