I've tried a few of these and prefer a screw on adjustment to a clip-on filter. This one is a little hefty on smaller phones, but that makes it more interchangeable at 72mm for other filters you may have. I personally don't use this as much as I thought I would. I used to try and match my phone quality to my mirrorless camera when filming, and that's why something like this comes in handy (to keep your shutter angle at 180 degrees). However, my new approach has been to just film everything with the mirrorless. To be fair, I have an older Samsung s9 and the quality isn't as good as newer models I suppose.Overall, I'd say this is a good option for phone filming though. You get a good clip as well as a variable ND. If you really want to avoid things like color casts, then you'll probably need to spend more. This is probably adequate for a lot of people using their phones though.

The **72mm Universal Filter Mount for Smartphones** is a game-changer for mobile photography and videography. Its compatibility with 72mm filters allows me to achieve professional effects like long exposures and anti-reflection shots, which were impossible with my phone alone. The cold shoe mount is a thoughtful addition, making it easy to attach accessories like lights or microphones for enhanced filming. The turning knob mechanism is smooth and securely clamps my phone, even with a thicker lens setup. I appreciate the durable aluminum alloy build and the rubber pads, which prevent scratches while keeping the phone stable. Its compatibility with various filter brands and the included storage pouch make it versatile and portable. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to level up their smartphone photography!

This looks like space magic if you don’t know how it works (I don’t)- but for taking photos on bright days and preserving my camera lens these work nicely. Simply clamp to phone* and turn the dial. The clamp is one point of concern, as it is a possible point of damaging your screen if the lens is hit or you over-tighten. So, tighten with care and take pictures with care. I may try to find a way to rig this to a case.

Just getting into content creation using my iPhone, and this adapter is great, especially since the filter that is installed is adjustable. Also, I have some filters from my old SLR (yes, back when people used this thing called "film" to take pictures) that I can use with this. I also like the cold shoe mount, which so far I've used with an external mic. Admittedly, I'll have to play some more, especially with using my other filters, since it's been many a moon since I last used my SLR, but so far I'm impressed.

I seriously don’t learn on the expression “you get what you pay for” and keep buying cheap products. I definitely returned it and waiting for my refund. People just save your money
