I ordered this to replace a drip-free that was too small to hold enough water for 2 dogs all day. This one has a clear base so I can see when the water is low as well as a solid, one piece insert that won't allow water to seep into it and grow mold or bacteria. I needed larger capacity and this fits the bill. I was disappointed with my old one as I would have to pry the two pieces of the insert apart to clean it. I feel this one will be easier to clean and I can easily see when more water is needed. It is well made with flat, inset rubber feet on the bottom for non-slip. My dogs are enjoying using it. I recommend this.

Our dogs no longer splash the water as they drink. There is also much less water dripping from around the mouth when finished drinking. It's easy to see the water level from a distance. Cleaning the parts is quick and easy.

I have three dogs. And they love their water. Basin is small enough to carry when you have to wash and refill. The plastic cover that sits on top of the water helps in slowing how fast they drink, decreases the amount y of splattering of water, and separates anything that might drop into the basin when drinking, i. e . Food or anything left in their mouth.This is the second one we have purchased and works well. Your floors will still have a little bit of water but nothing that a mat or towel could fix.

Very nice, have an Aussie puppy that likes to tip her water bowl over. She figure out how to drink from this first day and has not been able to turn in over and does not splash- play in this like she did in her open water bowl. I recommend.
