It worked fine for my foster kittens. A little pricey for one bag, and when I bought it the main product photo shows two bags, but it turns out it's only for one. Handled smell well enough. No dust.

This litter is a game-changer for cat owners. It clumps instantly, making cleanup a breeze, and it does an excellent job of controlling odors without any artificial scents. My cats took to it right away, and I appreciate that it's dust-free, keeping the area clean and allergy-friendly. Highly recommend it for multi-cat households.

I wanted to try this plant based cat litter because it's lighter weight and is possibly more cost effective than standard cat litter. I'm personally pleased with the practicality of this litter. It's a lot less messy than standard litter, since my cat can't kick it out of his box as easily.However, I do notice that he's a lot more hesitant using this litter than the previous one we used. I'm not sure exactly why he's so hesitant about it (maybe the smell or the texture under his feet). So that does make me nervous, since cat litter only works if your cat is willing to use it. But it seems like he's getting increasingly more accustomed to it, so that is good news. If he continues to get as used to it as his old litter, I would definitely switch to using this kind permanently due to how convenient it is to me. But it's all up to my cat, since it's his litter box. I'll let him decide.

Let's face it: Cat litter is expensive no matter what type or brand it is. I've been using crystal litter for decades, but my current kitty doesn't seem to like it much (it's more my preference). So, I decided to try something that is gentler on the paws. She seems to be less vocal after using the litter box. I like that this litter is eco friendly and even flushable (though being on a septic, I plan to dispose of it in the garbage). I like that it comes in unscented, as well as lavender.You do get only a 5.5 lb bag, but once it's distributed into the litter box, it seems like more. Even though it's in pellet form, it has clumping properties, which makes scooping/removing urine easier.The listing price of $16.99 for a 5.5 lb bag is a bit pricey, but if it makes my cat happier, it's worth it. It's too soon to know how often it will need to be switched out and/or added to. That will determine if it's even going to be affordable.
