My chihuahua doesn't like it much but it fits well and seems durable enough.

I have always used this brand for my 2-3kg poms. Never had any problem with them, bought this for my black pom so it's pretty much 100% hidden under his fur, don't know if the reflective bit works as it's not visible heh! Looks as new despite 6 months of use, and the older ones are now 5 and a little grubby but no fraying or anything. Same design, which seems to distribute anying force nicely across chest and body - once had to yank my pom into my arms quickly from an unfriendly dog in the park and he was unharmed.

I fully recommend this harness. I ordered the small one and it fits my 4 months old Maltese puppy.

I was impressed by the quality of this harness. It's very well made and the fact that it is so adjustable makes it extremely useful in my situation. I have two Chihuahua puppies that were 3 months old when I bought this. One weighed 1.3 pounds and the other was 1.9. The larger puppy, Boo, could wear hers right away, but the smaller one, Annie, had to put on 1/2 pound before hers would fit properly. Since then, I've been able to adjust the size with each growth spurt. Boo wears hers with no problems, but Annie locks up when the harness is put on her. She looks like it hurts her feelings when she's 'made' to wear it--but that's just Annie. This harness is a good thickness and doesn't chafe the dogs. I would definitely recommend it. (The color selection is another plus!)Update: Pleased to report that both Annie and Boo (at 3.2 lbs. each) are still using their harnesses. Annie no longer pouts when she wears hers. A gentle tug one day got her started walking in it and she hasn't let it bother her since. The dogs can do quite a bit of growing and the harnesses will still fit them. Great product!
