Grip is decently uniform and VF sticks are reasonably durable. 20% lower cost would cure any other ills.

La gran ventaja de estas baquetas es su ligereza y control gracias al grip de polimero con el que estan cubiertas (parte roja) permite buen agarre, en lo personal las puntas 7A me dan una mejor definicion de sonidos. las recomiendo.

The grip on these sticks are good. If you've ever used the zildjian dip sticks and you thought the grip was a little too much, you'll probably like these better.

I'm a fan of Vic Firth sticks, and these gripped ones were a must have. If you take care of them, the grip would last quite a long time. Unfortunately, they got into the hands of my younger brother, who managed to destroy the grip quickly (~6 months in). Despite this, they still perform like the Vic Firths everyone knows and loves. I'd probably have to buy another pair to judge the grip quality again (it's been a while), but for Vic Firth fans, these are cool. Depending on the price of the Zildjian Dip series, I'd buy these again; they seem a bit more solid than the aforementioned.
