We’ve only had these for a couple games and so far they are working good. It takes the sting out of the bat if they hit it a little bit on the inside also, it’s good for the natural choke up so there isn’t a gap between the bottom of the bat in your hand, I definitely recommend. Especially for younger players

I was searching for something that would absorb the sting when hitting the ball for my 9U son. These were very easy to put on and easy to take off and move to another bat. My son says it doesn't hurt when he hit the ball now. Recommend to a few friends already.

I was shopping on Amazon for the Easton S500 bat for my 2nd grader. For some reason, the 29" length was priced lower than the 28" length that I was looking for. I saw a review that mentioned the Grippi bat grip choke up rings and decided to get the 29" bat and the Grippi rings. My hope was that the Grippi rings would allow my son to use the longer bat this year and that I could take the rings off later and he could get additional use of the bat in later years.So far so good. The grippi rings work great. They are soft pliable silicone-like material. So they are easy to slip over the grip end of the bat with just a bit of soap and water. But they are also solid enough to stay in place once the soap water dries and to keep my kid's hands in place. The bat is holding up well (after 5 wks) and my son saw an immediate improvement in hitting. So I think the plan that my son could immediately use the longer bat and that we can get additional seasons use will probably work out.The package has 2 grippi rings. Each ring is about 0.75 inches thick. So you can 'shorten' the bat a total of 1.5 inches with one pack.My son says the rings also soak up some of the bat vibration when he gets a hit.
