I bought this lock because 3-5 times a year the lock on my farm fence would freeze. I would have to use WD40 to loosen it for a couple minutes, while making my fingers cold. It looks good, but the most important thing is it does not get frozen. I live in Pacific Northwest it does not get too cold, so I can only say for this region it is wonderful. Locks well, is smooth to use, and the size works on a farm fence lock.

Very well made lock. Heavy duty and I love the sliding cover for where the key goes in.
