I slapped this kit inside a Detroit locker 31spline lsd and let's say it's hella aggressive and definitely worth the money.

These just fit and were quick and easy to set up with a “crush sleeve eliminator.”Plus ford gears are face hobbed and to me that’s so much simpler to set up the pattern. Just one ‘extra’ of the thinnest shims and the backlash was right in the ‘tight’ side of the specs with a nearly perfect (better than ‘acceptable’) mesh pattern. I was almost dissapointed LOLI used USA Standard Gear bearings (koyo) to rebuild the diff, national wheel bearings and seals.I highly recommend the ‘crush sleeve eliminator’ - that lends a level of confidence you don’t always feel with crush sleeves. Even the best wind up with do-overs sometimes but with the solid spacer and shims it’s no harm no foul.

Used these 4.10s on my 2008 Lincoln Town Car. Took a .024 pinion shim. I was able to get the pattern on the first try. Now my Lincoln has more torque and better acceleration like it should. Remember, the Town Car is a big heavy car and requires gears like these 4.10s that I installed. Just had to buy a Hypertech Tuner to reprogram my speedometer, other than that, the gears are quiet and powerful.
