It's cheap, lightweight, and if you're looking for simple additions to a costume where you don't mind if it's not perfect it works well. It's especially great for Halloween where you don't want your items to look too realistic as well.

I bought this as a joke for my husband. Whenever someone asked what he wanted for Christmas, or a birthday, he always said he wanted a "stick of dynamite". So, when I found this, it filled the bill. It also created a lot of laughs and memories.

Pretty much what you'd expect from inexpensive prop dynamite. I distressed it a little with a couple mistings of brown spray paint- we used it as part of the trim for a mining town display and the original red was just a bit too dressy for our look. Sure, you could make yourself some prop dynamite from paper towel rolls, but I was in a hurry and this worked fine.

Perfect accessory for SPY vs SPY costumes. Older people remember from MAD Magazine, but it seems younger generations never learned to appreciate the humor.

There have been complaints about this item, for being cheaply made, for example. Actually, it's about what you'd expect for the money. Personally, I'd have liked it better if the tubes had been loaded with, say, sand; giving it a little more heft. As it was, the kids liked it and enjoyed playing with it for about half an hour. It's pretty much what you'd expect for an "inert" toy like this. It's better as a stage prop than as a toy, but it's a great example of my "you don't get what you don't pay for" motto.
