I needed this for something other than drums. The thread is most certainly not 6mm, more like half that. It simply has a 6mm bevel before the thread. Misleading and a pain in the butt.

Got this to replace the plastic ones that come with my edrums because I keep smacking and splitting the originals. Fits my Alesis rack cymbals so I'm guessing the thread is universal. This feels FAR sturdier and better engineered. Eventually I'll replace them all I'm sure.

Great buy. Excellent quality. Heavy duty construction. Fits my Tama cymbal stand perfectly and at a fraction of the cost at local music stores who often don't have this size thread.

These are the sturdiest aftermarket wing nuts I have found and reasonably priced. I have bought many of these, even replacing the original equipment nuts on complete sets of drum hardware at times. These are very similar to DW wing nuts and help other hardware match-up better in appearance when mixed with DW hardware in the same set-up.
