Obviously some have had better luck with these than I have. I'm using them with flat ca8 cable. I've been doing this stuff for years, so I'm not new to it in any way, but I found it very challenging to get the wires into these plugs in the right positions, and also difficult to make the ground connections work.But more importantly, when I did make a "good" cable, it wouldn't work. My cable tester showed that all the connections were good, including the ground, but when I plugged it into a router or switch, it acted as if there was nothing in the jack. I made 4 short jump cables, only about 24 inches long. All tested perfect, none worked. On three of them, I cut the plugs off and replaced them with older non-shielded, non-passthrough connectors, and then all three worked perfectly. Same wire, same assembler (me), same crimping tool. The only difference was the connector.

Work great for cleaning small items or applying liquid materials on areas where it is not desirable to have lint or fibers left behind.A slightly longer handle would be nice.

I used these on a project where I converted a Starlink internet system to 12v. They worked very well and do require the use of a specific tool to crimp the wires into the connectors.
