I've only used the fass fuel and water separator filters for my fass system. Works as should and only have needed to change filters once a year.

The way Fass designed the filter to capture the water instead of draining is brilliant because the other brand filters trap the water til full and then just open a bypass allowing water by again if you don’t drain them.The Fass water separator will trap the water til full capacity then will shut off flow to warn you water is full in the filter instead of allowing it by

I had a lift pump installed on my 2008 Silverado 3500 HD and needed to service all the filters for spring for the start of camping season. I tow a 42 foot 6 slide camper with a weight of 14,000 lbs. so it is important to stay up on all services. The Fass Filters were part of that service.

Exactly what others mentioned. The lift pump is so quiet now I had to double check it’s running. Like this new filter set up with no drain and I’m sure FASS know what they’re doing so just follow their direction and will be good protection for your fuel system. I bought this one and filters are in the box with lots of packaging protection. Didn’t want a cheaper one with taking a chance on receiving dented filters from cheap packaging.
