It works as intended and is pretty easy to take apart and clean. When brewing, the glass knob is insulated from heat and won't burn you, and neither will the handle even despite it being 100% stainless steel. Pouring is also mess-free and doesn't dribble down the side like other pots sometimes do. Construction overall, including the glass knob, feels solid.However on my stove-top at home, even just 4 cups of water takes quite a long time to reach a boil and for brewing to begin - much longer than my other stovetop kettle or my electric coffee maker. The little swingy part you use to hang it also comes into very close contact with my stove-top, and it becomes scaldingly hot every time I begin using it.I'm feeling kinda mixed with the usefulness of this product, but am settling on 4 stars for a couple reasons: Almost all the other coffee percolators on Amazon are either aluminium (this is bad for your health), or they can't be hung over a campfire - while this one is made from stainless steel AND has a swing to let it be hung over a campfire.So overall... it's okay, but at least at $40 CAD it's about $25 cheaper than most competition. Consider this only if you REALLY love camping (and burnt coffee).
