This is a very small umbrella that I purchased for a trip to Italy. It took up very little room in my suitcase. I was very glad I packed it for the one day we had rain. It worked well.

This was perfect for my summer vacation. I went to areas that rain during the summer but not too much so I was happy I could have some thing lightweight just in case. I put it in my day pack and sometimes held it on my shoulder when there would be impending rain. The only drawback is I could not fit it back in the case. The case was worthless.I don't know how it would hold up an extreme weather or duration but it definitely suited my purpose well.

Practical piece, it's made well, great design with the umbrella storage case. Perfect for your purse, bag, or, storage in your car. Pops open easily.

This umbrella folds up really small, only slightly longer than a can of soda, and about half as thick. It comes in a nice carrying case, as well as a separate sleeve. It opens wide enough to fully cover one, maybe two people. Operation is simple: to open, there’s a silver button on the handle that you press and slide up ‘til it clicks; to close, press it again and slide down ‘til it clicks. It folds back down to size really easily, so there’s no struggle getting it back into its sleeve or case.The only downside is that the handle isn’t particularly comfortable to hold. It’s very small (it pretty much only holds your pinky), so your best bet for stability is to hold the bare stem. This is obviously due to the umbrella’s compact sizing, so the trade-off is understandable.

had to use a paperclip to push in ball clips to shorten the handle to store
