Not as bright as I thought but having the ability to aim the lighting is a nice feature. Two needed tightening to do so. Went with another due to comparative differences in brightness

These solar outdoor/indoor lights are for when we have power outages here in the South from storms. Because these lights have a super long wire that attaches to the solar panel, we will be able to use these indoors, while that solar panel is outside being charged up. How great is that? These came with a remote control, which is very handy, and has motion sensors. Outside of storm season, these will be great to hang up on our covered front porch. They shine bright lights on a wide area. We were surprised to see just how bright they are in the pitch dark. They have five modes of lighting and have warm and cool white tones. We have been focusing on solar power as a help in conserving electricity and these are a big help in that. They are very good quality lights, the wiring, the connections, the sturdiness of the lights, and the attractiveness of the fixture all contribute to a good product.

I dropped the lamp from the height of my stomach on to the grass, and one of the lights snapped off, and is now just attached by a wire. I would have expected something a little more durable considering its intended use.

This is a review of Sunny Smiles brand Solar Powered Pendant Light. The model number is 24-SL01. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0DGC9DVVB.The assembly consists of the main hanging pendant, with a center light bulb and 4 wing lights, which can be directed up or down, with an angle of up to 170 degrees. A 16’ power cord connects the lights to a 7” x 7” solar panel. A remote control operates the lights. There are 2 PIR (passive infrared) motion sensors which can detect movement within a full 360° at up to 32 feet.The device has the advantage of split design, meaning that the solar panel is connected to the lamp assembly with a long power cord. As long as the solar panel is mounted in direct sunlight, the lamp can be placed anywhere within the 16’ length limit of the cord. I have the pendant light hanging from the cross beam in my shed, with the 7” x 7” solar panel mounted on the roof.The combined lights are very bright, with 192 LEDs that generate up to 12000 lumens. The 4 wings have a cool white color temperature of 6500K, and the center Edison bulb emits a warm white 2500K. There is no wiring other than the 16’ power cord and no electric bill.There are five lighting modes. Press the ON/OFF button on the unit. The remote control will then take over:Mode 1 - The light is set to shine dimly all night. If motion is detected, the light goes fully bright. It will stay that way as long as there is movement. The light then goes dim again.Mode 2 - When there is motion, this acts the same as in mode 1, but about 20 seconds after activity ceases, the light turns off.Mode 3 - The lights stays at 70% brightness all night, with no motion detection.Mode 4 - The light reacts to motion even during day.Mode 5 - The light stays at 70% brightness around the clock, without motion detection.Modes 1,2, and 3 work from dusk until dawn. Modes 4 & 5 work 24/7.The assembly is rated IP65, meaning that it is waterproof, as well as frost and heat resistant. The 4400mAh rechargeable battery will be able to hold enough energy to power the lights after a few gloomy days.A couple of the wings were floppy, but a screwdriver tightened them up quickly (see photo).Considering the brightness of the unit, the flexibility of the wings, the remote control, the motion detection, and the ease of installation, I believe that this product is being presented at a fair price.
