I can see the need to have these around, near the kitchen, vehicle, etc.Not sure how well these would work if a Lithium battery caught fire, but I'll keep one near by.

I can't really rate this product because, thankfully, i have not used it yet. The item came in a sleeve which has the directions on it and they seem simple enough. The 5 rating is for efficient delivery,

These fire (fiberglass) blankets are nice to have “on hand”. I consider them a less-messy alternative or complement to fire extinguishers, and I stage them around the house and cars with my extinguishers. If the fire is small enough, and a fire blanket is staged close (e.g. in/under the cupboard or kitchen sink, by the grill), and you can quickly grab one of these and cover the fire, then do so. It’ll likely extinguish the fire, and save you from cleaning up a powdery mess from the fire extinguisher. …But keep the extinguisher close as a backup. For what it’s worth, many automotive exhaust heat shields use fiberglass cloths, so in the right situation, these could be used to shield you from heat or fire during evacuation (e.g. over the head and shoulders…shawl-style)
