I write this review a humbled man. I had spent so much of my life ignorant to the wonders of the modern world. I was ignorant to the ways of the world, because I chose not to see it. I thought that I was "good enough" with a standard plug-in charger.Ha, good enough. As if having usb-c chargers fall loose out of the bottom of my phone after 12 months of regular use was good enough, ignorant to the meaning of "It's the Year of our Lord 2025."And then I had my eyes opened wide by Motorola.I purchased the Motorola Edge 2024 heavily on sale ($299 for a $549 phone is not a bad deal in my book!) and saw one glaring issue: it came with a cable, but no wall-box. Come to find out, if you want the wall-box, it's 50 bucks for a 68w CHONKER. But right next to it in the catalog was this wireless charger, on sale for 39.99 and fully compatible with my phone.The choice was obvious. And now I see how foolish I have been.Honestly, the greatest invention I can think of in this first quarter of 2025 is the wireless charger. Sure, it had a rocky start and was finicky for a while, and the batteries would sometimes catch fire (this is why I avoided wireless charging for so long, I admit) but the functionality is excellent here! Whether vertical or horizontally-oriented, the phone charges like a dream! It has turbocharge, so the phone reaches its full battery capacity within a couple hours. I set the phone on the charging pad, which is cleverly designed to hold the phone up at an angle, when I am going to bed at night, and it's always charged by the morning. I've never had any personal issues with the heat level but I haven't tested that out extensively. The build quality is nice, as is the usb-c cable that comes with it.Honestly, this product has flipped my view on wireless charging completely. In 2025, why is wireless charging not a universal, at least for phones? It is such a pleasant experience, and I am awestruck by such a wondrous piece of technology that makes me a believer, even as the rest of the industry seems hell-bent on using technology for evil.I guess what I'm saying is if you are buying a compatible phone model, buy this charger. You may also be surprised at what this humble obelisk of metal, wires, and plastic will do for you!

Charges my Razr+2024 fast but also avoids generating too much heat. The phone gets only slightly warm. It's nicely made, feels of good quality. It's easy to use. Works well. Perfectly compatible with Motorola products but will also work with other phones that are Qi compatible. It doesn't take up too much space.

This product works fine, and best I think with a thin phone case or none at all, since my case traps heat and me personally, just felt that it got a little too warm. It had a good price and it doesn't take up much space. My phone with case charged fine, took about 45mins to complete. I usually put a felt bag over the charging pad to keep it clean and dust free when not in use.
