Easy to extend range of Olympus TG-x cameras in a compact design. Just use zoom lever on camera until desired image shows on rear screen without black corners. It also works for super close up shots without having to nearly touch object.

It helps you zoom in slightly more than what the camera limit is. You must have the camera zoomed in all the way to use this product or you will have a black "O" outline on your pictures. The material is good and does what it says but i think its a little expensive and UNNECESSARY.

im deployed and on a boat our in the water alot so this item works great dont like the fact that u got to buy an adapter tho

It doesn't make that much of a difference for the investment. I went snorkeling with it and was very limiting. To avoid the pinhole look you need to zoom in significantly, so you are stuck trying to take pictures up close only. The camera has a decent macro feature that let's you take pictures up close and almost the same zoom capacity without this over expensive lens anyways. Plus you'll be able to take wider pictures as well. Note that you can't remove the lens in the water.

a good lens not great... but well worth the money... i had to order the adapter from japan as you cant find it in the u.s. i dont know why... the adapter is a plastic attachment that simply allows you to bayonet the lens to the camera... the lens itself is severly vignetted when installed on the camera and you must zoom to get a full screen...deduction:1 star for non-robust mounting system1 star for vignettingBUT i still give it a 4 star overall because its still a cheap way to add a decent lens to a great camera... thanks
