The basics of this paper is just fine: It's the right size and the holes are punched properly. It's 100 gsm, so thicker than cheap copy paper but not luxurious. (If you want fancy, go for 120 gsm.)Where it misses is in the details. The dots are a bit darker than I would prefer -- I like subtle, and these distract from the writing.The other issue is that the dots go all the way to every edge. "So what?" you say. Combined with the dark dots, it makes it feel as if this was just cut from a larger, pre-printed sheet. If you've seen some other refills, you can tell how the lines/dots/grid was printed after cutting, making it fit nicely on the page.Again, that's a minor nit, but it does make the paper feel a bit cheaper than some other brands. Not a deal-breaker, though.Bottom line: A fine refill, but nothing to write home about.

I've just begun sketching for relaxation and this grid paper is great! I love that it's small, I put it in my small art binder and can carry it in my purse so I can draw during down moments in the day. This grid paper is great for scale and dimension practice, to make sure I am drawing things with the right dimensions. It's not technically sketch paper, but it hasn't caused a problem yet. It's a sort of off-white yellow color, not stark white. It is a good weight so it doesn't rip easily. It suits my purposes well. Good purchase for me!

These sheets are a nice thickness and the dots are spaced well and are not too dark. The dots are a little darker than I would like but definitely not a hindrance. Worked well with both a medium and fine tip ball point pen and a mechanical pencil. A sharpie marker does bleed through some but that is to be expected. Overall a nice set of refill paper that I will purchase again when my supply is out and if the prices are still good!

Handy refill of A5 note pad paper - nothing fancy, but the dot format allows you to write neatly or sketch diagrams fairly easily. Paper has a slight yellowish/amber hue to it - it is not the bright white of other papers. Good value and handy.
