INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:1. Open the lock (the original number is 0-0-0).2. Press the button down. Hold the position until 3 step is finished.3. Set your secret combination by turning the dials.4. Release the button.5. Now your new personal code is set.6. Make sure you note your code carefully and check that the lock functions correctly.If you want to change to a new combination repeat steps 1-6.I lost my instructions and needed help so I hope this helps someone out in the future!

First briefcase of the boxy type that I recall owning. I think for the money that I didn't go wrong at all.This seems to be of good quality, as described, functioning beautifully, my laptop fits and it's still very roomy.I look forward being seen with it and the use I'm going to get from it!

I enjoy having this because I love the classic look. This really does bring the whole "brief" case back in my opinion. It is definitely not too modernized. It has the same kind of features as a briefcase from back in the day. It has several compartments for your papers, books, and such. There is also a combination lock although it only opens one lock instead of two like some suit case did back in the day. The suit case is definitely smaller though than what you would get back then. I assume this is because people would want to carry their laptop on this. Unfortunately that is where the flaw is in that there is no way to really secure you laptop in this suit case. It will most likely bounce around unless you can fit into one of the holders but here is not much room in there. When I open the briefcase, I can tell my laptop has been bouncing around which makes me worried about it possible getting broken in the future. The outside exterior looks pretty nice. I am pretty sure this is not real leather which makes me worried about it cracking in the future. The metal hinge inside is pretty secure so you do not have to worry about it breaking or the case closing on itself. The handle is easy to grip and well wrapped. Overall this is a good brief case if you like the old modern look and feel. This does a good job replicating that but does very little to really modernize it to today's needs. Mainly that your laptop will be shaking around. The compartments though is great for staying organize and it actually looks really nice. The lock is pretty secure for the most part and the case itself is solid.

I thought was was a prank. I thought I was purchasing a new briefcase and what I received appeared to be used and damaged. This thing was falling apart! There were scuff marks on all corners, the skin was falling apart and you could see glue marks. Inside there was a pen and dime left behind from the previous person. Unfortunately I can't use this in a professional environment.
