Seems like a better design of the cables than original regulator, however, the plastic that holds the clip for the window broke after 5 months and perhaps a dozen times using the window to crack for fresh air. Therefore I can't recommend.

It work great and easy to install. The only bad thing was bottom bracket was slightly bent had to bend it back to get it to line up right. Would still recommend it was a good price.

UPDATE: Yes, i liked the updated engineering and design of this regulator.I did expect to get more than 12 months of use though. See pictures. Cable broke at the splice. Replacrd with an OEM part todayThis is the 3rd window regulator I have replaced in this 2004 Jeep. This is a new look and engineering over the OEM regulators of the past. Mush easier installation than the old units. No long cable guide to force into place.Make sure you keep the bolts from the old unit - this comes with no bolts.Request for future - the electrical whip faces up to the right when the motor is installed, approximately the 1 o'clock position. The whip connector harness is to the bottom right of the door frame. There is enough cable to attach the two ends - I do not want to be the person who has to locate, unlock and disconnect the cables next time. Please either lengthen the whip from the motor or relocate the whip to the 5 o'clock position for easier access to the harness.
