There is a reason that Micron is the industry standard for artists who work in traditional mediums. They are consistent, always use good quality ink, and work the same every time. The pens themselves are made of sturdy plastic and the caps both fit on the back of the pens and have clips so they don't roll off the table. And buying a large pack like this helps get them at the best price. They are great for outlines, and I'd suggest doing the outline after watercolor or alcohol markers to guarantee they don't bleed or smudge.

I ordered these to use for my journaling, and I couldn't be happier. There's something to be said about a pen or a marker that just works when you need it to. These have proven to be extremely reliable, and I love the way that they write. I'm able to achieve smooth, even lines with no little hiccups. Like all other pens that I've fallen in love with, I wish that these lasted just a bit longer than they do. But at this price, I feel like you can't go wrong with them. I will definitely be ordering more when the need arises.

The pen is a good pen. When I was writing a paper, however, I noticed that the ink was running out quickly. It could be because I press to hard when I write, not sure. Overall, I would get this product again because it did come in a pack. Would not recommend to use for writing. It might work better for drawing.

Pigma Microns are pretty much the gold standard in writing and note taking in Bibles or reference materials and yet very competitively priced. The super fine, 005 size is my favorite. The ink is archival quality and bleed resistant, which is a must for heirloom Bibles. I recommend using sepia as an alternative to black since it's a bit softer, but easily blends in with the text. Still, all their colors work great.
