Since I've lived alone, I've had to learn to make a lot of repairs myself. Before I moved in 2019, two of my dresser drawer slides broke, and since then, two more have broken. I was so sick of the drawers falling out onto my feet (it hurts) that I decided to give these slides a try. The first one was a real bear. It took me a long time to line up and install the parts. It was hard getting it right. I sent a screw up through the bottom of the drawer, couldn't get everything aligned correctly, and couldn't actually fit the drawer slide onto the cabinet part of the slide. At that point I was so frustrated, I was close to giving up. I stuck with it though, and was able to get the next three drawers done (without any screws sticking out) in the same amount of time (or less) than it took to fix the first drawer. If you have any questions, follow the advice of the other reviewers. That's what I did. Those reviews are so helpful, they were life savers. Especially pay attention to the reviews on how to measure the drawer and cabinet to place your order. I almost ordered the wrong size! My drawers are now working perfectly, and they no longer fall out and land on my feet!

These are cheap, interference fit ball bearing undermount drawer slides, and theyre great! Replacing plastic slides? Have a broken slide but cant afford a direct replacement? Need something that works fine for now? These are your ticket! We used these to replace worn out and broken plastic slides from the 60s, and they work just as well as the originals. If smooth single finger pull operation is what you're after, this isnt it. If extreme weight capacity is what you're looking for, look a little more. These are great cheap slides!! And as long as you understand they wont function like high dollar slides, you'll be plenty happy with these. Clean and relube to reduce friction if needed, as they use an incredibly heavy weight grease on the bearings, but that likely helps fit and wear, so alter at your own risk.

I was able to repair my wifes dresser drawers. Working fine now.

Very easy to use and very smooth to operate would recommend them if you have the old style draws.

The description said 6 pieces were included (5+1) but only 2 were in the package.
