I’ve used many silicone baking mats before and this one isn’t the best quality. This mat is non-stick, but is very thin, gets discoloured easily and is quite porous. It’s probably not the highest quality silicone that’s used to make this mat. The mats are large in size and the circular design is helpful during macaron piping. Overall, I’m not very impressed with the quality of these mats and they almost feel disposable to me.

As an avid home baker, I'm always on the lookout for tools that can make my life easier in the kitchen. When I stumbled upon these Silicone Mats for Baking, I knew I had to give them a try. After using them, I can confidently say they've become an indispensable part of my baking arsenal. The first thing that caught my eye was the size of these mats; a generous 42 x 29.5 cm. This ample surface area allows me to bake multiple batches of cookies at once, which is handy when I'm prepping for a big event or holiday. The uniform size and shape of the individual cookie has also improved the consistency of my bakes, ensuring they all turn out beautifully. The non-stick silicone material is an absolute dream to work with. No more struggling to peel delicate macaron shells or cookies off a baking sheet. The smooth surface allows the batter to flow effortlessly, and the final product slides right off without any fuss. This has significantly reduced my prep time and minimized frustration, which is essential when tackling the finicky macaron making process.Another feature I've come to appreciate is the ability to reuse these mats over and over again. Rather than going through endless parchment paper or disposable liners, I can simply wipe these down with a damp cloth and they're ready for the next batch. It's an ecofriendly and cost-effective solution that aligns perfectly with my baking habits. However, the mats can be a bit finicky to store. Their large size means they don't always fit neatly in my cabinets, and I've had to get creative with my storage solutions. A dedicated drawer or shelf would be an ideal way to keep them organized.I primarily use these silicone mats for baking cookies, as that's my personal baking passion. The non-stick surface and consistent shape have been invaluable in perfecting my cookie making skills. However, I've also found them to be versatile enough for other baked goods, such as macaroons, biscuits, and even small muffins. The mats have become an integral part of my cookie making process, they've saved me countless hours of cleaning and allowed me to focus more on the creative aspects of my craft. These silicone mats are sure to become a staple in your kitchen.
