Worked better than most simple corkscrew and looks good and is compact. The only problem I had is that the corkscrew part when held for driving into the cork doesn't have enough tension or friction to stay in the T shape and tends to collapse into the handle when pushing into the cork. So requires holding the handle and screw in a way that prevents this. No problem after that.

Good quality. Some bottle openers feel like you might almost break them when opening a bottle, but this one feels very sturdy and well made.It also looks exactly as advertised. Simple and classic. I really like the look of the matte finish.
