Took these to Mexico on vacation. Very comfortable. They fit well. My girlfriend even commented how much she liked them.

Amazon recommended a large, but, based on size chart, it appeared a medium would be a better fit, however, this reviewer prefers a slimmer fit, so a small in dark green was chosen. Fit is good on a 5'10" 160# male, perhaps a tad snug, but this was the desired fit, so it's satisfactory. The outer material is fairly standard swim trunk stuff; a thin polyester with some spandex that's great for swimming and drying fairly quickly. It's not as stretchy as anticipated, but has enough flex to do the job. The pockets are good; fronts are fairly deep and made of mesh, so they can hold normal items and dry fairly quickly, too. The rear pocket is large enough for a regular wallet, and features a Velcro closure for extra security, as well as a drain hole. Styling is fun; gives a bit of a retro vibe, while still looking modern. The color is deep and looks great with the contrasting piping. Inner mesh brief liner is very generous, with plenty of room up front. Note that these seem shorter than the advertised 5"; that may be due to how the fabric flexes, and how long the front pockets are (they easily make themselves evident when sitting). Pricing isn't absurd, but perhaps a bit higher than it could be, however these are still a decent value. Recommended.

They're comfortable and seem to be pretty well made.I like the design and the waist is nice and comfortable and not too tight and binding.The length of the legs is nice and falls a couple inches above the knees.Has that weird mesh "tighty whitey" underwear in it, so I cut that right out of there.The shorts are great, but the leg openings do flare out pretty wide and kinda look a little funky.If you have skinny legs, these may look a little strange on you.
