First off, this knitting machine is great. It has been used to make multiple sweaters, and it's fast and works great.However, I need to explain that I did not get my machine from Amazon. The one that I ordered from Amazon (as a Christmas gift for my wife, no less) was lost in Amazon's logistical nether realm never to be seen again.The worst part about this is the hassle that Amazon put me through to deliver nothing. Here's the short version.I ordered this for my wife well before Christmas. After about a week, I started to wonder where it was.Amazon shipping showed that it was likely lost. I had not been contacted about this.I requested a refund. After about a week, I still hadn't received one.I contacted Amazon and was told that since it was sold by a third party seller, I'd have to talk to them.The seller told me that since it was shipped through Amazon, and that Amazon had lost it, they wouldn't issue a refund (totally reasonable, IMO).I contacted Amazon again through their infernal chat mechanism, and again explained the situation.The chat rep wanted to send me a replacement (I'd already purchased one from a more reputable dealer so that my wife would have more than an Amazon tracking page for Christmas) and I struggled to get her to agree to a refund (she also wanted to give me Amazon credit instead of an actual refund).All in all, Amazon had a little over $500 of my money for about three weeks, delivered nothing, and made me learn about the problem and do all of the legwork.It makes me wonder how many small household items people order, then never receive, and just forget, and Amazon just keeps their moneyt.

It’s my first flat knitting machine so I have nothing to compare it to, but I absolutely love it. I’ve made a few blankets and an attempt at a dog sweater and all issues have been user error so far lol.

I have been a hand knitter for many years and have recently invested in two machines for knitting. This is a good product at a good price. Everything arrived except the oil for the machine, but I have had a good time learning to use the machine and have even made a couple of table runners on it! I am looking forward to making many items that my friends and family can enjoy!
