I wish all storage shelves came with two mounting options! I used the adhesive mounts, but when I am in a more permanent living situation, I will probably want to mount them with fastenersIt came with 5 adhesive tabs and 6 nails + appropriately sized anchors. I wasn’t expecting much out of the adhesive tabs, but they are surprisigly strong. I have about 1.5 lb (but they could easily take on more) on the shelf and I expected at least a small amount of wobbling when picking up/placing items onto it, but so far it hasn’t.The adhesive tabs are about 2” x 2”, so the load is distributed over a larger area and will probably hold up better than a majority of the adhesive tabs that usually come with products like this.You can also fasten them onto the back of the shelves before you hang it, They can still rotate, though, so make sure you mark where the tabs should be placed before peeling off the adhesive backing.I forgot to do that and placed a tab on the wall first, so I figured I would just use the extra one. But if you peel it back slowly, it’s actually thick enough not to pick up any bend lines and retains stickiness.I don’t have either of the shelves installed in a wet environment (bath, shower, etc.) but the vented sides will be really useful for keeping the acrylic clean, since I probably won’t want to remove it from the backing everytime I want to clean it. As a person who is always rushing out the door to not be late to something, having open-sided shelves was not going to happen, even though I like the way they look. The slanted design on these still protects me from accidentally pushing something off the shelf but has less of that bulky/boxy/planter vibe to it.

What is disappointing is to receive the items with the most important parts, which is the adhesive tapes for the mount.I bought the item because I don't want to drill my bathroom walls, it is a rented property.I was so looking forward to the product.But thankfully, I got prompt response from Amazon customer service, Vaibhav who is able to help me to process the refund and collection.
