This is SO versatile. The material is slip resistant and cleans very easily. We use this to prep baking goods and to protect our counters when we small alliances like waffle makers and countertop skillet. We do hand wash this only but mostly due to size. I store it rolled up, but it lays completely flat each time we use. Love this!

I recently purchased the Silicone Countertop Mat (35.4"x 23.6") and have found it to be an incredibly versatile and high-quality product. Though I gave up the privilege of return and warranty by cutting it into smaller pieces for different purposes, I can confidently say that it was worth doing so. The products have exceeded my expectations in various uses.#### Uses and Benefits:1. **Induction Cooktop Protection Mat**: I cut some pieces to fit my induction cooktop perfectly. It provides excellent heat resistance and protects the cooktop from scratches and spills. The non-slip feature ensures it stays in place during cooking.2. **Coffee Tamping Mat**: A smaller piece now serves as my coffee tamping mat. It provides a stable, non-slip surface that makes tamping more efficient and mess-free.3. **Placemats**: I crafted several placemats out of the original mat. They are perfect for everyday use, protecting my table from heat and spills while being easy to clean.4. **Baking Mat**: One piece is dedicated to baking. It handles high temperatures well and is a great surface for rolling out dough, ensuring an even, non-stick work area.5. **Jar Opener**: A small section works wonderfully as a jar opener. The silicone grip is strong and makes opening even the most stubborn jars a breeze.6. **Countertop Protection Mat**: The remaining pieces are used to protect various parts of my countertop from scratches and spills. Although silicone is dishwasher safe, a quick rinse under tap water for a few seconds makes it very clean.While the price is on the higher side, the versatility and quality justify the investment. Some other silicone products have a slight unpleasant odor when first unpacked, but this one is not bad. I can tell it's made with food-grade silicone as advertised. The only thing I regret is that I should have gone with their larger size (78.7"x 23.6").I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a durable, multipurpose silicone mat. It's a great addition to any kitchen and offers excellent protection and utility.

I am impressed with this mat. It came rolled, so there were no creases to deal with. It is reasonably thick at 2mm. It is not waffer thin. It lays flat and appears to be genuine silicone. I use it for an espresso station; trying to keep steam, water, etc off the counter. Mine measures 15 7/16" (39.5 cm) x 23 5/16" (59.3 cm).
