I was apprehensive getting these thinking they would be too small for my loves but was pleasantly surprised. They get the job done quickly even if my dough overflows the edge of the "sling". turn out from the proofing basket, score, and lift into the dutch oven. I fold the handles into the dutch oven so the lid can fully close and have no had any issues with the handles deforming the loaves inside. Overall its a simple addition to my baking tools but quite helpful.

These bread slings work so much better than parchment paper. For one it is easier and safer to place the dough into a hot dutch oven. The bread cooked beautifully and with no creases that I used to get with the parchment paper.The silicone, of course, gets hot in the oven so don't attempt to remove the slings directly from the oven as shown in the product pictures. I used tongs through the slings hole and remove the bread that way. Once they sit outside the oven for a couple of minutes they are cool enough for me to handle.I wasn't sure if I should have left the handles in or out of the dutch oven so opted to leave them out and place the lid on after. I wasn't sure if leaving the handles inside while baking would affect the cooking process of the dough.I really like these bread sling, they are so much easier than parchment paper, I like they are non-stick and easy to clean.
